The club was founded in 1970 by John Baskeyfield, a teacher at Belgrave School. The club initially played in local Sunday leagues, but they moved to the Stoke-on-Trent Schools Staff league in 1975.
The club has won the Stoke-on-Trent Schools Staff league championship on four occasions, most recently in 2019. They have also won the league cup on three occasions.
