This evening is an excellent opportunity for you and your son/daughter to learn more about the exciting developments, courses and fantastic opportunities available within our Sixth Form. Sixth Form Developments - Phases 1 and 2 Sixth Form Courses - discover the wide range of A-Level subjects we offer and how they can pave the way for further education and career prospects. Personal Development Opportunities - obtaining excellent qualifications and developing a love of a subject and learning are fundamental aims but these are balanced with developing personal qualities and characteristics through involvement in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, the Combined Cadet Force, Music, Drama and Sport, as well as our extensive extra-curricular clubs, talks and societies programme. Sixth Form Leadership Programme - this initiative is designed to enhance the self-assurance, study routines, and aspirations of our top-performing students at Southborough High School. By engaging in a variety of enriching activities, students can boost their confidence and capitalise on valuable opportunities. Participants will convene regularly, gathering resources and guidance on university visits, conferences, aptitude tests, academic competitions, work experiences, and more. Additionally, they will benefit from interactions with guest speakers, alumni, and mentoring sessions to equip them in navigating a path towards academic excellence and personal growth at Southborough High School.
